Domestic Helper
Last week I wrote about my live-in helper wanted to quit working for us. Today, DH talked to her again, and a lot of her doubts were cleared (Thank God! and thanks to DH!!). She finally agreeing to stay on.
Out of pressing of time (originally she wanna stop by end this month, that was just another few days away), I already engaged a part time helper of Philippines nation. Now that I am having my previous helper to continue, we have had to cancel the engagement with her. Feel really bad about it…
Nowadays there are so many Philippino maids around, who are working on part time hourly basis, and they are on their own. Many do not want to live-in, and do not want full-time commitment. The rate is also quite “standard”, first 3 hours they charge RM50, and then subsequent every hour is RM15. It is a tad too expensive, but they are very efficient, so in 3 hours they can deliver quite a lot.
If not because my children are too young, I think engaging their services would be actually quite a good option, on a bi-weekly basis, I think.
Anyhow, if any of you are interested to engage this girl’s service, please leave a comment here, I will PM you her contact detail. She said she is free to travel around in KL/PJ area. I’m recommending her because I feel bad that I caused her to have some slots empty now.

Btw, I am happy for you that your maid decided to stay on. Nothing beat a familiar face (other than relatives) that can help you 24/7.

Thanks!! Yes, I am more glad than anyone else in the family, I believe. LOL! Having a person like her at home, is much better than not having anyone! ^_^
