Ian calling for meeting
Yesterday when I was leaving the house, Ian caught me at the door, told me that, “Mama, this Saturday we have a meeting.”
I thought he was trying to tell me the teacher wants to meet me. So I said, “Where? In the school? With whom?”
But he responded, “Here, at home. I am asking for a meeting with you and daddy.”
Wow! I was stunt! I think he must have heard me talking about my business meetings, and have seen me having telcons. He must have observed how serious a business meeting can be, and would like to imitate one!
So I asked him what he wants to discuss, and he said, “I want to talk about what we would like to bring for our July trip”
Wow, my boy has grown up. He doesn’t just cried and make impromptu demand on what to bring, but he wants to discuss about what to bring?!
After discussing with me, he said that he would be the chair person of the meeting, and that the objective is to know what to bring, and the agenda is also to discuss what to bring. LOL!
He has set the meeting time at 5-6pm.
I am looking forward to our very first family meeting tomorrow. Hahahaha!

Update: Aiyoh, we had our meeting today, and it was so so so boring. Yawn! Hahahaha! Well, he was very excited, sitting at the ‘chairman’ seat, wanting to be the scribe as well. Write down notes very slowly. And he even prepared 4 sets of note papers for us. Looking very serious. Okay, here is the list of things that he would want to bring and approved by his mommy and daddy:
- Tortoise
- Book (Jurassic Park!)
- Notepad and pencil (for activity)
- Snack
- Water tumbler
- Sun block
- Swimming trunk
