Kids follow what we say

Published by suzette at 7:16 pm under All,Ian

Lately, Ian likes to curse “shit”. He has been saying that so many times. First time he cursed, I jumped and scolded him.

He was puzzled. He asked why I was angry with him. I then asked him why he said “dah bian’. He explained to me that he did not say “shit” as in “dah-bian”. He said, “This ‘shit’ is just ‘Oh My God’”

LOL! Then, I explained to him that it is not right to keep saying that, because it is called ‘cursing’. He answered back, “Why daddy always say that?”

See!!! I have been telling DH not to say this in front of the kids. He has been careful all this while, but somehow lately he doesn’t seem to be concerned or care about this!!

And another incidence…

One day, Ian talked to DH downstairs. When he was talking, DH was on the way going up. Then, somehow DH thought Ian was talking to Isabel and he ignored. For a while Ian talked, and then suddenly he paused, then raised his voice:

“Wei! Am I talking to the air ah? Are you listening to what I say?”

Hahahahahaha! DH quickly responded to him and apologized.

Ahem! Guess what? That is exactly the phrase that I always use, whenever I talk to Ian without getting any response. Hahahahaha!

Kids really know how to imitate us!! Must be really careful with what we do and what we say.

      Linda: Really? Exactly how?

Lynette: Hahahaha, you must have scolded the same way, and he follows you.

Eyriqazz: Hahahaha, and I bet he may not even know the meaning of “degil”, right??!! :) They are so funny.
