More updates from Friends of Kapar
There are a few more updates from Friends of Kapar.. If you remember the story of Kartik the Paraplegic Boy, there are a few updates of his current status. He has been evicted and is now staying in his new home in Shanti’s house.
In fact, I am very amazed with Shanti’s kindness. It was my misunderstanding that it is an old-folks home. It is NOT! Shanti is just an ordinary lady, without high income. She has pity on some old folks and Kartik, willing to take them in to stay with her. She cooks for them, bath them, and take care of them.
In the blog, there is also appeal for regular sponsors to help Shanti’s home. Do pop by to see how you can help.
Apart from that, there is also appeal for white school shoes. Here is a photo of the general condition of the students’ shoes:
