My sister is pregnant now, going into her 23 week. 2 weeks ago, she called me in panic, saying that her breasts were reddish, with burning sensation, but also very itchy. One of her nipples had peeling for a week, then hardened became like dead skin. She was so scared, thought she had a rare form of breast cancer. Her appointment with her doctor was 2 days away, so she applied Eumora on her breasts including nipples.
Surprisingly, after 3 usages, her breasts no longer reddish nor itchy. The hardened part on nipple became softened.
When she consulted her doctor after that, the doctor, through her description, said it must be pregnancy eczema. She received a shot and got some oral medication plus cream to apply.
But she has decided to stop every medication, to use only Eumora, because she is not so happy to use so much drug on her pregnant body.
I’m so glad that Eumora helped her!!

I want to reiterate, water is NOT necessary for babies who are 100% breastfed. I have written before, in detail, explaining why breastfed babies shouldn’t be given water at all.
It is not that we are obsessive of what we give to our babies, but it has medical reasons why water should not be given to babies.
Remember, it does more HARMS than goods to the babies. Do NOT give water at all to your babies, if he/she is 100% (exclusively) breastfed, okay?

If you plan to give birth in the hospital, you might be worrying what to pack and what to bring. Here is a place you can find printable checklist for things to be brought to hospital, i.e. what to pack for your Hospital Bag.
When I gave birth to Ian, I had a checklist from Pantai Hospital, so I didn’t really need this. I’m not sure if they still give out similar list or not. No harm checking this out.
I would add one more item to the list though, from my experience with the epidural. After the epidural’s effect is gone, you will feel nauseous. You might want to bring some candy to suck, to reduce the feeling.
One tip to release the ‘wind’ in your stomach after the epidural, is to drink this ginger soup. I know, I know, not to take too much of ginger post delivery, but this soup is very useful. It ‘saved my life’ before. I was reluctant to drink, but nearly vomited in the delivery room post epidural. I drank it, immediately burped out the ‘wind’, and then nauseous gone, I was completely okay after that.
This soup is made this way:
- Extract the juice of 1 large pc of old ginger.
- Boil it with a chunk of lean meat (pork or beef).
That’s it. No need seasonings, already tastes good, and effective too.

The other day, we were shopping at Jusco for fruits. I stared at this Sun Melon, which Ian begged me to buy. I talked to myself, “Aiyah, never bought this, also dunno how to choose it ler… maybe don’t buy lah…”
Ian begged me again, “Mama, pleeeaaassseee, I want to try this one wor. I really, REALLY, want to eat this sun melon… Please buy for me, plleeeeaaassseee”
I said, “But, mama don’t know how to choose, later buy not nice how?”
Ian’s response:
“Aiyah, mama, you have to buy it, go home, cut open, then you know whether it is nice or not, then only you will learn mah! You have to do it first!”
Wah! True, I have to start somewhere, and learn from mistake, or else I would never know how to do it!
