Birds’ Visits
This morning, maybe it was just after rain, the birds all came out excitedly chirping around. Some came to our garden…
Isabel saw them, and asked me what were they doing. I told her that the birds trying to catch some worms for their breakfast.
So, this little girl said, “Ohhh…. The bird mommy wants to catch cong-cong (worms) for the bird babies and bird daddy to eat ah?”
Hahahaha! I really have no idea why she would include bird daddy. I guess, maybe she observed that, in most families, it is the mothers who prepare food for the children and daddy. She forgot that, in our house, sometimes daddy also bring home packed food for us!!
Hahahahaa!
Hmm… what to cook for tonight huh?? Maybe Fish N Chips…
