Miss RG’s birthday party

Published by suzette under All,Ian,Isabel

My friend G’s daughter RG just had her birthday party 2 weeks ago. The family came back here all the way from Singapore, despite the outbreak of A-flu. They had the party at MegaKidz at Mid Valley.

Upon arrival, all little guests were given a water tattoo on their arms. I think they are really lovely. Ian and Isabel chose these:

They have a dedicated room for all the party guests. The party started around 11am, so it was a nice early lunch for us. My friend ordered fried meehoon, curry chicken, nasi lemak, and some veggies for the adults. For kids, it was part of the MegaKidz package. My friend ordered the second most expensive package. For orders beyond a certain number, we get the ascot to come in – it is a pirated Barney, a purple dinosaur. Hahahaha!

Isabel kept pulling the dinosaur’s tail. She kept going back to shake its hands, shouting “You see! Barney! Barney is here!”

Well, obviously they are different, apart from the purple color. LOL!

I think it is a very nice place for birthday party, coz before and after the party starts, the kids can play at the gym for unlimited hours. If your kids are older, you can also leave them while you go shopping. My other friends SM and D did that with their 6 and 8 years old. I won’t do that, coz mine are too young and less independent. LOL!

Geez, when we first arrived, Ian didn’t even want to play at all, and kept saying he was scared. Then, his best friend Ryan arrived, wow – things changed 180d. Ryan was like a rat, climbing up and down, and then there he is gone. Ian had to catch up, but because Ryan was there, he became more daring and could play already.

Isabel, on the other hand, played at the baby’s section BY HERSELF. She ignored me, explored things, and found a nice corner, LIED DOWN AND PLAY SLEEPING GAME! LOL! Very independent… a bit to the extreme end.

A surprise on Saturday

Well, actually not a 100% surprise, but the timing is a surprise…

Saturday, DH came back with this bouquet of flowers:

He said that he bought this for me. I didn’t believe in him, coz I KNOW HIM VERY WELL that he wouldn’t “waste” his money on flowers. LOL!

True enough, actually, this is the welcome gift the car dealer supposed to give to his wife – ME! Hahahaha! The dealer must be a bit disappointed not able to surprise his wife. LOL!

Anyway, my suffering with the old Honda is gone. I am quite happy to be parted with it, but DH is the one who got emotional. He kept taking a lot of photos with the car. LOL! Ya, true, it has accompanied us for 5 years already…

Back to the new car. I am VERY HAPPY with the new car. We have been waiting for it to arrive since 2 months ago. Been delayed so many times, till we thought we got cheated. LOL!

This car is about the same price as my old Honda, but the spec is a lot more premium. Bigger cc as well – but then, also mean higher fuel consumption right?

Well, more pressure to look for a job now… :p

Eumora Miracle Bars

Published by suzette under All,Eumora,Food/ Shopping

Last Wednesday, I met up with a friend from Singapore. He is quite senior, I think maybe 50+ age. He looked so much younger than the last I met — like 6 months ago. I don’t usually comment on people’s look, so I didn’t say anything.

Later one, we chatted a while, and he brought up the subject of this miracle bar – EUMORA:

eumora

Apparently, he has been using this product, in replacement to other skincare. That is, no cleanser, toner, scrub, moisturizer, botox, etc… Just this product alone. His face becomes firmed and more radiant. The only thing didn’t work is his hair line. He was hoping to grow back his hair. LOL!

Out of curiosity, I bought a box of 4 minibars to try. I gave one bar to my mom, sold 1 bar to a neighbor (her daughter is having serious skin allergy, scary rashes popped out after swim lesson). Now, I am using 1 and keeping the extra 1.

I will monitor the effect on my mom and myself. If it is proven works, I will join the dealership and sell the product here. Have to try out first lah, cannot just sell without personal experience!!!

This product is so, so, so expensive. Don’t ask me how much I paid, but if it works, worthy – imagine how much you have to pay for the whole set of skincare that does not have the great effect as claimed by this product. Some more, ONE product suits me, coz I am very lazy to use too many things. Hahahaha! Lazy bump – remember my first blog LazyBone? LOL!

Actually, what draws me to the product, is the testimony from a Singaporean parents. Their baby has eczema on the scalp (cradle cap), very bad. They have been using those hypo-allergic products on the baby but didn’t work. They tried using Eumora on the scalp for 3 days, the scalp healed. Then, they didn’t believe in the product, tried using the old soap again, it came back.

As for me, what is it that I want to ‘heal’? Open pores loh, and acne scars. LOL! Also, have to be prepared for sagging skin as well, approaching 40 liao loh! :p Ah, not to forget the permanent rashes on my arms – that is VERY IRRITATING.

I will report back next week, and see what’s the progress. Actually, I used 3 days already – noticed few things:
1) Skin brighter even after 1 usage.
2) Pores shrunk after 1 usage but stay as that after 3 days.
3) VERY DRY skin.
4) Redness - usually happens when I am sensitive to a product, and dryness.
5) 2 pimples popped out around the neckline on 2nd day, but reduced today.
6) Tightness of skin.

On dryness and tightness, according to my friend, it is how the product works – firming up the skin. I don’t know to believe in him or not, coz also read from some forums that the dryness is permanent. Hmm…

Geez, I am hoping very much, that the products really work. It is not cheap… indeed VERY EXPENSIVE bars!!

Let’s see how it goes, after another week!!

NOTE:
If you are an agent of EUMORA, please do NOT leave a comment here trying to solicit sales. I’ve seen your tricks in many websites. I will delete your comments here.

If you are ex-users of EUMORA but with very bad experience, I’ve heard you in some forums, so no need to repeat here – I still want to give it a try, because there are also many others who found it works. Furthermore, I’ve bought a box, don’t want to waste it. Thank you.

Update [16 Jul]: Eumora is now sold on The Suzette here.

Update [29 Jul]: My skin peeling and dryness is gone!!! The next test is with my facial lady. I will see her soon, and let’s see what she says about my skin condition…

You made me not handsome

Published by suzette under All,Ian

Lately, Ian likes to dress up VERY MUCH. He would choose his own clothes, always like to pick 3-pc, i.e. a shirt (sleeveless/short sleeves), a pant and an overcoat (usually a short sleeve blouse). And he would match it with a belt too.

I usually let him do what he likes to his clothes, as long as it doesn’t cause inconvenience to others.

Then, today, just as we were leaving the house for dinner, this happened. I armed the alarm, close the main door, and while I was turning the door lock, Ian suddenly ‘remembered’ that he wanted to wear his sports shoes, which was in the shoe rack INSIDE the house.

He insisted to go in to take the shoes, and I refused to open the door because of the alarm timer.

Very upset, he went into the car. In tears, he said, “YOU, because of YOU, I am NOT HANDSOME today!”

Hahahaha! Ya, because of me, he couldn’t wear his sports shoes, and he is not handsome. Hahahaha! Sorry then, next week I let you be handsome ya? :p

I Hit Isabel

Published by suzette under All,Isabel

Yesterday after Isabel came home from school, I cooked macaroni at the kitchen, as she requested for it.

In the meantime, I asked maid to help her bathe, so we can speed up the process. Just after a short while, I heard maid begging for something upstairs. Her voice sounded panic.

I went up to have a look, and found out Isabel locked herself in the guest room. I was so furious, because that is against our house rules.

I asked her to open the door, no response. I went down to take the spare keys, tried to open it, but somehow the lock just jammed and I couldn’t open it!!!

I was so scared, because not only she has no response, there was no sound, nothing absolutely!!!

I kept banging the door, begged her to open it. Then demanded her to open it. Still NO SOUND. It lasted for at least 5 minutes with me panic outside like ants in a hot wok.

Eventually I got it opened, and saw her smiling at me, holding Ian’s toys in her hands. She was wearing the kind of ‘winning’ look on her face.

I was so furious, and I caned her many times — which resulted only 1 cane mark, nothing else, surprisingly!

She has acted over my limit, and it is something extremely dangerous. I cannot imagine what if she played at the window and fell out? What if she played with the switches and got electrocuted? This is extremely dangerous game that she was playing.

I hope that, since I don’t usually cane her, and this was a really serious caning session she has ever had, she would remember it and won’t repeat the same.

My heart almost stop beating, when she did that to me…
