Ian Can Read
I am quite pleased with Ian’s ability to read by himself. Well, he still needs guidance and asks a lot, but he is heading the right direction sooner than I expected.

I didn’t ask him to pose for the above photo. He genuinely like reading and trying to read out those words.
It is one of the handed-down Peter & Jane series. This one talks about the children have picnic at a beach. After he read the book, he kept asking me to bring him picnic.
Looks like I have to do this very soon!!

you are so lucky to have a hand me downs on Peter n Jane.. u know how much it costs to get the whole set anew? a bomb! time for a picnic there then… great job ian!
That’s really good! My son started reading books like this only recently…when he’s 6.5!!! What to do, hvn’t been paying attn to his Eng….
Merryn: LOL! Ya, I am actually quite lucky to have that. I actually made it known to everyone that I don’t mind used items, and if they have anything they want to throw, ask me first! This set almost got to the bin, really! Well, it is not a complete set, but who cares, my children love it. LOL!
Lil Monsters Inc: No worries about this. Every children develop differently and at different pace. Ian can’t do a lot of physical stuff. LOL! I think he will be a bookworm! :p
Hey, thats awesome, the more he reads and the earlier the better it is
Hi…came across your blog while searching for a nursery for my son!
I always love blogs with kids…..since I am a new mum (18 months old) and still growing! Good for Ian….well well done!
Joey: Ya, I guess so. The sooner he can read on his own, the sooner I get to be freed from reading to him. Hahahaha! (selfish thought!). :p
Ann: Thank you for visiting and left a comment. I hope you like reading this blog and do come back!
