Such A Loving Boy
In the lousy X’mas party, our small team won in a mini game, and I got an animal mug. Another friend of mine doesn’t want hers and passed to me, so I could give to both kids (no fighting!).
Here are the mugs: one with 2D monkey drawing, and another one with 3D lion.

I let them choose based on the gift wrap. Ian happened to get the monkey and Isabel got the lion. It turned out both kids wanted the monkey. Isabel kept crying and asked for exchange with Ian, and Ian of course wouldn’t give in.
After some fight, I knew I couldn’t persuade Isabel to change her mind, so I attempted on Ian…
He is so nice! He agreed, although not quite happy at first. Later when he noticed the lion is 3D, he felt happier.
I just hope we don’t spoil Isabel by doing this too often. She is getting more and more unreasonable nowadays…

I can see myself having the same dilemma with Zoe. I can already see me giving in to her more and more (and encouraging the other kids to give in to her to) and she is only two years old!
Wow, I actually think the lion would have been the fought over cup because it’s 3d!
Isn’t Isabel right smack in the “difficult” toddler years? So maybe it’s to be expected…
Modern Princess: Hahaha! Looks like it is common for all youngest kids. Maybe that’s why, most youngest child gets to be spoilt! :p
Li: Ya loh, I also thought the Lion would be more attractive, mana tahu kids’ taste is different from us. LOL!
