Cannot declare victory too soon
Well, yesterday morning, Ian asked for another sticker, for not wetting his pants at night. I told him that he has ‘graduated’ from this, coz he hasn’t any accidents any more… He happily accepted this, since he has received his last prize (after achieving 30 stickers).
But then… the same night, midnight he woke up complaint that his bed was wet. He said, “Mama! Why my bed is wet?”
When we said he peed, he denied it, “No! I didn’t shh-shh (pee) in my pant!” And in fact he was about to go to the toilet at that point.
He sometimes lives in denial like this. Finally after accepting the fact the he did have an accident, we changed him and he continued sleeping.
See, cannot declare vistory too soon. The moment I said he graduated, and that’s why he had another accident. LOL! Luckily I haven’t removed the protector on his bed yet! Not confident enough. :p

haha, i have been trying to do this with Ryan, but I am too lazy to get up to prompt him to the toilet.
I guess I have to resign to the fact that diapers is still the way with him now … till he is ready to “graduate”.
That seems to be a nice way to stop your child to pee on the bed, however I don’t think it will work for a long time, the permanent natural solution that helped my kid getting rid of this was “Dates” My granny told me to give my kid two dates before sleeping and he will gradually stop peeing on the bed, I acted upon granny’s advice and now my kid is completely OK and does not pee on the bed anymore!
Now this is a cute story. My wife and I don’t have children yet, but a story like this can remind me that we have to be patient with our children, once we have them.
Busy Bee: Since moving to the new house, he hasn’t got any accident yet. I dare not to mention this in front of him. Hopefully this lasts!!
Medela: What do you mean by ‘dates’?
