Yes! New laptop arrived!
It arrived last Thursday but I was not in the office. Since my Jakarta workshop was planned on this Wed-Fri, I didn’t want to take the risk of losing any data in the transfer, so I requested to delay till I come back. But they want to charge a ‘cancellation fee’ so I’ve no choice and arranged for Monday delivery.
True enough, as I thought the process was smooth, next morning, at home, I couldn’t find SOME offline files. All my workshop material gone missing. I had to go into office to get this fixed. Wifi also not working. Imagine if I find out only when I am in Jakarta? It would be disasterous! I would have nothing to present in my 3 workshop sessions!!!
Anyway, hehehe! With this new laptop, my 4G SDHC card can be read! So I will be updating some old posts soon, with the photos captured in the card!
Btw, feel so relieved, all my workshops completed as the Jakarta was my last one. I hate to run those workshops coz so mundane, repetitive every year. No new news, no new topic for workshop discussions, boring! Now I can concentrate on some more interesting projects…
