Come meet Isabel’s new friend
Remember I always wanted to introduce soft toys to Isabel? For quite a while she was quite okay with having Julia around.
But recently, she discovered this in the closet. It was a free gift when we bought MamyPoko 2 years ago. No one wanted it so I kept in the wardrobe for quite a while.
Because the previous toy has a name, Julia, this one also needs a name. I forgot its name, but remember vaguely it is something-chang (as in the Japanese ‘san’ for kids they call ‘chang’).
When asked a few times, I said, “Aiyah, it is something-something chang lah! Dunno what dong-dong-chang also.”
Guess what? His name is now stuck with: DONG-DONG-CHANG!
Now, Isabel changed her lover already. No longer she wants Julia. At night, she’d throw Julia away, telling me that, “Mama, I don’t want Julia!”. Instead, she wants her dong-dong-chang.
She even wants Dong-Dong-Chang to look at her when she drinks and eats! Together with Barney, the 2 has to ‘sit’ in front of her and ‘look at’ her!
What a funny girl I have… 
lol! She’s so cute. Your girl, I mean, not Dong Dong Chang. Hahaha.
MG: hahaha! Actually I almost laugh or smile each time I hear her calling that Dong-dong-chang!
