I am a left and right brainer??!

Published by suzette at 9:29 pm under All,Miscellaneous

Found this interesting image on dotcommogul. It is a Left vs Right Brain test.

Take a look at this image below. Is the dancer turning clockwise or anti-clockwise?

dancer

According to him, if it is clockwise – you use more of your right brain. And if it is anti-clockwise, you use more of your left brain. Well, he said you can actually try to change its direction – a trick to your mind.

So, what is your:
1) First, most spontaneous, direction?
2) Are you able to focus and make it change its direction?

As for me, it was very strange. When I first opened it, it appeared clockwise – before I read the article. Then, I had a bathroom break. Came back, no matter how I focused trying to change it, it stuck with ANTI-clockwise!

Okay, then after a looong break, when I’m trying to write this post, I look at it again, it becamse clockwise again.

Does it mean that my brain usage is sometimes left and sometime right? Or, am I a left AND right brainer? Hehehe! I fully utilize both sides of my brain?! :p

First glance, it was anti-clockwise for me. However I could change it to any direction later. To change, you have to look away and come back to it.

      Great test!

This is freaking me out! When I first looked…anti. Then clockwise. It keeps switching. What does that mean? I’m going to read the article now!

      It’s pretty simple.

To view it as clockwise, just look at the girl’s feet.

To view it as anti-clockwise, look at the reflection on the floor. :)

easy, i can change, whenenever i want. if you want anti, jstclose your left eye and tilt your head to the right, for clockwise do the opposite. for better results jst blur the dotted lines until you can see the object clearly, after for a while i don’t need this technique, (clockwise)i jst focus the trail on the left(not the leg)then quickly connect to the leg when it is reaching to the right. you need good timing on this. i observe quite some time, it works for me. notice the position of the leg on the floor changes, hehe

nope its a trick, it will change by itself, nothing to do with the brain, haha

michelle: I looked away and come back, still the same. Have to ‘forget’ it first ler…

drama mama: I think there is a trick there, either in our brain or in the image.

Lays: I did that, I tried that too, but when I’m stuck with a direction, doing both also no use to change it!

d: No it is not a trick. I did that test with 2 other friends. We saw two different direction at the same time! So, it must be really in our eyes/mind! But for me, to change the direction I have to stare at it hard, then at one point it sort of ‘paused’ and then turned the other direction! :)
