The 4th time! Why I’m not that anxious already?
Ya, not that anxious already, maybe I’m numb already? This is the 4th time my site was down and inaccessible. Okay, it is up now, otherwise I wouldn’t be writing again.
But everytime as my guard is set loose, like yesterday, it sure happen again!
I didn’t check this site for more than 24 hours since Friday night. I have a few scheduled posts to let the site run itselves over the weekend. But when it passed midnight, it was completely cut off!
I know this coz I could check my statcounter.
I feel so frustrated. I lost so much traffic when it happened each time. Every time as I worked hard to get my traffic back, just as I see it climbing up, from 0 to 40, to 80, to 120, to 150, and nearly to 180, then… pop! Back to ZERO again. This is so frustrating. Wasted my pings and BE credits.
This time, my host restored my site in just few mins after I contacted him. But I can’t be checking it every min, can I? My life is more than just blogging!
It is like a jealous kid trying to drive more attention… 
Anyway, am glad it is back now. LcF said he will help me to reinstall my WP manually. Let’s see if it works. It is just so strange!!

That’s painfull. Your site being down every once in a while should be no big problem, but it shouldn’t happen that often.
I would check with your host, to see if the problem is related to the server that your site is running on , of if the problem is with their connection to that server.
They have to fix it, I mean, you’re paying for it, right?

Jo0Lz: Ya, you are right, once a while is okay, but at the current rate, it is really irritating.
My host has been contacted and they are not sure what went wrong either, coz my case is a bit unusual. It is partly inaccessible. The site is inaccessible, but the backoffice is half accessible. I could still post but what for, since people can’t access to read.
You are right that they have to fix it, that’s why I am not too guilty to contact them so often now. LOL!

and thats real sweet of lcf to help you out on it. I felt the same anguish as you, but i want to say that i’m glad customer support on all ends were helping out as much as possible. Back on to blogging and while life is more than just blogging, but the sites are our babies hehe

Hehe, you are so right about the sites are our babies. It is my hobby now, too! I think this is a relatively cheap hobby, isn’t it?
