Maid closed the door on Ian’s finger
Well, though maid wasn’t careful enough, but it is not entirely her fault. I have been telling Ian to be careful not to insert his fingers in the door’s gap, yet he still likes to put his fingers there.
Luckily maid didn’t close the door shut, and luckily she does things very slowly and gently, we could ‘rescue’ Ian before her finger was amputated!
It must be very painful for him at first, but now as I examine her finger after 3 days, it looks okay, except some markings on the inside. Look at the ring finger:

And here is the back, which looks perfect now. The other day, it has a nasty 1 line that looks like almost cut the finger!

ooo poor thing
ooo nasty incident but Thank God Ian is ok now..
careful..careful..careful..careful..put a stopper maybe..?
poor Ian…i think he won’t dare to put his finger near the doors anymore …
There seems to be an inexplicable attraction between door gaps and kids. My son got his finger caught too, courtesy of his dad.Nothing serious luckily and the little fella had a fine time garnering sympathy from everyone who’s willing to look at his finger.Went on for a while until one day I caught him showing the wrong hand :p Hope it’s “once bitten, twice shy” for Ian?
jazzmint/stephanie/aiyu: ya, that was pretty nasty, and I believe Ian learnt a good lesson now.
EMYYL: LOL! Guess what? It is the same here! He kept telling me how painful it was, refused to touch water, wanted me to help him with everything… but then when he was on his bicycle and/or bullying the sister – he could bend his finger and actively use it. LOL!
OUch! that hurts. Ian will learn his lesson but it’s a painful lesson.
Oh boy..!! that’s why i also very “kiasu” .. and nag and nag .. each time at chloe. And then she would answer.. “i’m not mama!!” exasperated with me.. kinda voice. .muahhaha!!
Jo-N: You are right, he finally learnt his lesson. He stopped putting his fingers in the gap now. After so many warnings!
Mama Bok: Hahahaha! Kids always want to act they know a lot, and the don’t like to be reminded.
It is like universal!
Ouch I can feel the pain and my knees went weak….hope he is ok now.
Lucky your maid is the type who does things gently. Mine is the type that bang the door on my kids everytime she open their bedroom without checking who’s behind the door. scolding is getting tiresome. But here i go , digressing again.
Glad to know Ian’s finger is okay.
