IKEA let this guy lives in the store!
They must be out of their mind. But must admit this guy is funny, at the same time irritating.
Okay, what is this about? If you are from the US, you might have heard of this guy Mark Malkoff, who is a comedian/filmmaker, recently famous of his 171 Starbucks in a day project.
His New York City apartment had to be fumigated. He claims that all of his friends have tiny studio apartments and hotels in New York are too expensive. As a filmmaker, Mark came out with an idea of moving into an IKEA store where he’d live and sleep for a week, at the same time make an interesting film documenting his experience.
You don’t think IKEA would let him do that? Wrong. But they must be insane when they agreed to that. He stayed in the IKEA store in Paramus, New Jersey on 7 to 12 Jan. He slept there, shower there, ate there, played there, etc. He has published the movies shot in the period in his website. Go have a look, and let us know whether you find him funny or irritating. LOL!

I watched all of the video. Damn funny can!
wow interesting! i wonder if malaysia’s ikea would be open to that idea hehehe
Lol I would love to think that malaysia would allow it, but I kinda doubt, cause i don’t think the business minded ppl here would be evenly remotely eccentric enough or open minded enough to do something like that. Although it’d be really cool… Dibs on that first
… Nice blog you have here Suzette.
jason: Ya, he is very funny, but at certain point I think he is irritating as well.
BTW, I really really HATE people jumping on their beds, and he did this ALL THE TIME! That really irritates me.
kimberlycun/aronil: Haha, I think first you must be a film maker and offer a different positioning to them. Also, the shoppers here might feel offended by this guy harrasing them. Some more, playing with the public announcer, talking nonesense and singing awful songs - ya, very funny, but I’m not sure Malaysians can take such joke or not.
Love it! What a great idea. Going to watch the remainder of the video.
thanks much
