Edison scandal – still hot in media?

Published by suzette under All,Miscellaneous

I bet Edison has not been this famous in his life, not even when he was still at his top popularity.

Already more than a month since their first batch of sex photos leaked to the public, the media is still frying on the same subject. Last week, he made a public confession and apology – the media still didn’t leave him alone. I guess this subject is just too hot to be missed or let cooled.

Cheaper option of electric breast pump

When I was helping a friend looking for breast pump options, I remembered reading from MMB forum, a member numom mentioned that she purchased Ameda directly from UK, which is a lot cheaper compared to Medela.

I contacted her and on top of that made some further research before sharing with this friend. My friend ended up bought it and used for nearly 3 months now. It seems to be a great option, for mommies looking for an affordable dual pump.

System
Ameda uses the ‘Hygienikit Milk Collection System’, which is FDA certified becoz the milk doesn’t back-flow into the tubes. It is electrical dual-pump, which can save pumping session by half. Continue Reading »

My son supports DAP because he believes in…

Published by suzette under All,Ian

I never brush off my son’s questions easily, no matter how difficult to answer them. Even if I don’t know the answer, I will tell him that I don’t know and we search the answers together.

These few days, he has been curious of the election, and I have been trying hard to explain to him about voting, about government, etc, in simple terms as much as possible.

One day, I grumbled about taxes, saying the government took away so much of my money.

All these, have planted in his little mind…

Then, few days ago, when I was sending him to school, we saw a lot of DAP’s banners. I explained to him what they are.

IKEA let this guy lives in the store!

Published by suzette under All,Miscellaneous

They must be out of their mind. But must admit this guy is funny, at the same time irritating.

Okay, what is this about? If you are from the US, you might have heard of this guy Mark Malkoff, who is a comedian/filmmaker, recently famous of his 171 Starbucks in a day project.

His New York City apartment had to be fumigated. He claims that all of his friends have tiny studio apartments and hotels in New York are too expensive. As a filmmaker, Mark came out with an idea of moving into an IKEA store where he’d live and sleep for a week, at the same time make an interesting film documenting his experience.

You don’t think IKEA would let him do that? Wrong. But they must be insane when they agreed to that. He stayed in the IKEA store in Paramus, New Jersey on 7 to 12 Jan. He slept there, shower there, ate there, played there, etc. He has published the movies shot in the period in his website. Go have a look, and let us know whether you find him funny or irritating. LOL!

What is BlackBerry?

Published by suzette under All,Ian

After hearing my conversations with DH on the recently obtained BlackBerry, on Thursday morning at the dining table, Ian asked me in a very curious tone:

“Mama, this is a GRAPE?”
