Want pretty, not life

There is a saying in Chinese: want to be beautiful, never mind if die. 要美不要命

Montessorimom wrote about a datin who went into coma after a plastic surgery.

Ironically, my friend’s mom died after she went through a plastic surgery too. It happened many years ago, when we were F4/F5. I still remember going to her funeral with my schoolmate.

My friend’s mom actually went to do a facelift, i.e. pulling the facial skin. We thought it was the anesthetic that whe never woke up after that.

So, do you want to be beautiful, more than your own life? Some people do, but not me - maybe because I am not beaufitul, nothing to lose with age. :P

I would never dare to do facelift or breast enlargement. Life is precious.

me too! i am a firm believer that there is nothing more precious than life itself and so, i will not be subjected to the risks in beautifying myself.
