Ian surprises his teacher

Published by at 9:58 pm under All,Ian

I didn’t know Ian’s vocab is considered ‘good’, until his teacher talked to me in surprise.

She told me, on the 2nd day of school, he refused to bath and said: “My mother hasn’t confirmed I am on full day yet!”

She was surprised with the use of the word ‘confirmed’, and wondered if Ian knows the meaning or not. :)

And then on last Tuesday, when he was sitting with the teacher, the chair was a little too far from the table. He moved the chair closer and said at the same time: “I want to make it narrower…”

Again, the teacher thought the word ‘narrower’ used by 3.5 yo is fantastic.

I don’t know whether to be proud or not, coz those words look normal to me. Since I have no other kids to compare with, I think I can be a little proud of my boy, as it came from his school teacher. :D
