Have to buy another school bag for Ian
Jason would surely LOL about this, coz I know he hates the purple dinosaur – Barney.
The school has informed us last Friday, trolley bags are not allowed in the school any more. I really want to curse them – why couldn’t they tell me when I registered, as this is a new policy. Last year there are still many students using trolley bags.
I’ve just bought this one for Ian just for his Christmas gift, and it costed me a fortune.
The reason why I bought trolley bag is that Ian’s bag is quite heavy now – his tumbler already weights 1kg+, plus 2 sets of clothes, 3 clothes and food, he has been complaining last year. I really can’t bear to see my children having to suffer heavy bags since this young age.
I have to get a new bag for him, and we have to search for a bag that is light weight. I’m going to let him hand carry his water tumbler instead of putting in the bag – that’s the most heavy stuff.

Sometimes, I do think our education system needs to be overhauled. Heavy bags with so many text books do not necessarily mean you’ll end up with smarter kids, right?
what are the reason given by the school as not allowing the trolley bags? could it be that the person who came up with this idea has a chauffer for all his/ her kids??
Hi,
I just weighed my std 1 daughter and came up with 19kg. Her bag weighed 7kg. That is more than one third of her body weight. Has anyone tried carry something more thatn one third of your body weight?
Regards.
