Song Requests
Isabel starts to enjoy musics and songs rather late. Unlike Ian, who was born with love in musics and songs, she didn’t seem to notice if there is music or songs. There is no use singing lullaby to her coz she’d continue to scream and cry until she’s too tired and fall asleep.
Lately, she starts to make her own song requests, whenever she hears us (Ian included) sing.
Her favourite request is: “Wa Wa” (娃娃)
‘Wawa’, started to mean 泥娃娃. Then, later it also includes any songs to do with dolls like 娃娃国, 妹妹背着洋娃娃.
When she started to like that 2 songs, she ONLY wanted that 2 songs. That is, we were not allowed to sing other songs! Whenever Ian asked me to sing something else, she’d cry, yell and scream, that she wants ‘Wawa’.
She’d do that until we had to stop but to sing either of that two doll’s songs. Very demanding and fierceful!
After a month or so now, she slowly accepts other songs, though occassionally she’d request for ‘Wawa’. I got so tired with that 2 songs – imagine, repeating singing that 10-20 times in a day… or more! So, I now deligate the ‘task’ to Ian. Whenever Isabel requests for ‘Wawa’ I’d ask Ian to sing.
Sometimes Ian very playful, he’d tell Isabel that he must sing other songs first before singing the 2 songs to her… 
Oh, and Isabel also knows to applause whenever Ian finishes singing for her. She’d clap her hands and yell: “YEAH!!!!” Very cute…
BTW, lately her song requests has included 1 new title: Wa Wa Su. Which is supposed to mean “小老鼠”…
Heheh!! chloe didn’t start till late too.. and then she picked up without help..
