Scared Of Your Own Sh*t Smell?

Published by suzette at 9:04 pm under All,Ian

Any of you scared of your own smell when passing motion? Well, not that the smell is pleasant, but I believe no one can react as strongly as Ian.

Because of his fear of his own smell of stool, he practically trying to avoid passing motion!

Sometimes he tried to hold it for a whole day, though he couldn’t hold the fart. “Poo-poo-poo” sounds everywhere, foul smell everywhere, still he refuses to go to the loo.

Sometimes when he cannot hold it already, he’d go quickly for a QUICK try, like 10 seconds and quickly give up. This process goes on and on until the poo is released.

Whenever he is at the toilet trying to pass motion, he’d scream and cry loudly: “Mama! Chou chou (smelly)! Chou Chou!” and then he’d give up and sneak out!

Portable Fan
So I came up with an idea. I switched on a portable fan and put near him to blow the smell away.

With that, at least he stays on the toilet bowl and finish the job.

PVC FanHowever, my fan has gone missing (the one above is my sister’s, in my mom’s house)! I just couldn’t locate it any more… :(

So, to solve Ian’s problem, I have to resolve to ‘manual fan’ – see pic.

I have to stand inside the toilet and fan him with the above, everytime he poo’s. :(

Yes, I can choose not to do that, and the consequences is a few days constipation for Ian. As a mom, do you think I could do that or not? So have to smell his sh*t everyday – either me or someone else (MIL or DH!). Oh, he doesn’t want to let the maid do that though, very picky.

Ahahahaha!!! I am so tickled! Weel, apparently I have the opposite problem. Ryan likes his poop so much he started to play with them in the last 2 weeks. BEen refusing the potty and decides to shit in corners. So, if I don’t hear him for 2 minutes, I can locate him through the smell. And if I am not fast enough, he will take his pants and start flattening it and wipe it all over!!!

I know I am not supposed to laugh, but it is so funny!
I do hope that he will grow out of it soon though!

Busy Bee: You let Ryan poo alone in the toilet? Wow, he is so grown up and can agree with that huh? Ian won’t let me leave his sight, and he particularly prefer me to fan him, coz according to him I fan the correct way! I can’t picture how Ryan poo at the corders, can you describe further? :)

Mama Bok: You are right, kids are always fanny in their own ways!

Busy Bee: Wow! That is so funny! When Ian pee anywhere, I told him he is like a dog, so he deserves to only sleep outside of the house like the dog (MIL has a dog, so he knows). What that threat, he started to behave better. Not sure if this would help? But then, I was told threatening is not a good way for discipline, so better not – a second thought. :P
