Rohit Tiwari: I took it out because of 3 reasons: 1 - it didn't help to increase traffic nor comment rate as I hoped it would. 2 - I received too many spammy comments mostly trying to get a link back without adding value to the comments. 3 - I'm not sure what is Google's stance in this, just a prevention not to lose my PR again --> this is a passive move, and not confirmed.

We are also currently in the process of removing the nofollow tag from all of our blogs as I believe the dofollow tag encourages commentors that otherwise would have not commented as they will now get linked back. As a webmaster i am in a better position to determine a spam link than google so i'm happy to to remove dofollow also.
