Left Behind Series
Two years ago in a book tag, I mentioned that I bought the Left Behind Series, minus the second last book - Armageddon. I’ve finally bought the missing episode from US, last year in Chicago.
The series is written by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins, about lifes after end day. There is a believe that the Rapture of God’s churches will happen one day, and only true believers will be raptured and those who are not will be left behind. The instant that rapture happens, actually created a lot of chaos. This followed by the rise of the Antichrist, and then the battles begin…
Quite an interesting read, especially the first few books. Only when it comes to the last few, the authors seem to be getting more and more long winded, to a certain extent - becoming boring. I enjoyed the first few books, but not the last.
Nevertheless, a good series especially for non-believers!
My rating for the series: 3.5 out of 5. To be specific, I’d give rating of 4 out of 5 for the first 6-8 books, and only 3 for the last few books.
BTW, I didn’t know about eBay two years ago. Now, I can see people selling at eBay the complete series, with much lower price that I’ve paid for my second hand copy!
