SAHM vs FTWM

1. Immomsdaughter prefers to be a SAHM

6. 5xmom wants the best of both worlds.
7. Simon still dreams of being SAHD
8. Mama23beas is comfortable juggling work and family.
9. Suzette prefers to be FTWM

It is a hard question for me, actually. Coz I’ve been thinking of this question a lot, especially lately. No doubt I hate my job now than before, I also hate to be at home being a full time mome! So, I think I will still stick to the current state. 3 strongest reasons:

1. I get to travel for free in my job, though I haven’t enjoyed it yet due to all the breastfeeding needs I can’t really enjoy. I am waiting for Isabel to reach 2 years old and I wean her completely, then I will (and expect) to enjoy my business trips more. Got to learn to let go a bit, to extend my stays and do some good sightseeng!

2. I’m sure DH will ask to dismiss the maid if I am SAHM, and I hate to do house works. I hate cleaning the toilet, I hate laundry, I hate mopping the floor, etc. I don’t think SAHM is as nice as you think, it is actually working like a cleaner or maid, but DH will become the boss! :P Sorry, no offend, SAHM out there!

3. I need the breaks from kids sometimes. I still remember during my 1st maternity leave, I nearly got insane, very emotional, easily frustrated, etc. DH told me I will ‘recover’ when I go back to work. Which was true. :P And no one liked me like that! LOL!

      mama23beas: I got your name wrong huh?! shoudl be 23 instead of 22. :P
      Well, actually I do struggle lately, hate my job a lot, sometimes wanted to tell DH that I’d want to just quit! After debating a lot, decided working is suit me best. :P
