Video of Mad Neighbour
Finally, DH converted the cell phone’s video (3gp file) to mpeg. Below is that video taken when she was scolding DH for ‘心理变态’ (i.e. psycho). Full story read here.
Seriously, who is psycho? She has been scolding MIL ‘mad woman’ also. We believe she was previously scolded with these terms by her previous neighbours (??) and she is now using those terms on us.
Again, who is psycho? Let me ask you this, if you walk pass a house, with a woman standing scolding her neighbour who never respond, and this woman scolds everyone including her neighbours visitors, maid, kids, dogs –> tell me, who do you think is psycho? That woman scolding, or her neighbour who is being scolded?
y ur neighbour like that one? i think ur neighbour got something wrong…dun bother her n she will stop it if no one talk back …
Lovelymummy: We thought so, so we never responded. But for 3 months (or so?) already she continues like that. Is a mental torture. Now SIL and DH are trying to convince MIL to build a wall to block the neighbour. Is really a mental torture, as she can be non-stop doing this. Also not healthy for my kids to grow up in this environment.

it is mental torture staying with such neighbors beside you who got nothing better to do but to scold you for no apparent reason. I don’t think building a wall would stop the torture.. maybe on a short term basis.
I wonder if there is a organization or someone whom you can complaint to. Ignoring them won’t shut them up anyway… cause they think that you did not answer back because what they said is right… Weirdos they are… I hope they move out real soon!!
siwwypig: You are right! We are on the same page. I also against building the wall. You know, when we don’t respond – then enter or exit the house, she would chase after us and scolded even more loudly, saying that we are coward, dare not to answer her for what she acused us! Really mad.
I think first you better make a police report.. ! in case you need to take civil action against them.. in the future.. ! restraining order or something.
MamaBok: FIL went to the police station once, told the officer in charge, recorded in the ‘white book’, but not officially making a report yet. The police promised to come take a look, but we doubt they’ve came by at all! Maybe got to go again.
haha. I thought my MIL is bad. She will give sarcastic remark to the neighbour even with a high wall build up , but never scold directly like your neighbour, she just pretend to talk on the phone very loudly facing the neighbour house, but everything she said is targetted on the neighbour, very sarcastics wan… I stay there also I cannot tahan…. never know your MIL’s neighbour worst than my MIL. The neighbour just bear with her everyday for years liao..if me, I sure go cuckoo already
dragonmummy: What? Your MIL is also like that? What did you neighbour do to deserve that? Did your neighbour respond to her sarcastism?
Poor Suzette. I have recently face a mad neighbor also who is regularly hitting the wall using hammer or some hard stuff during midnight. The undesirable noise is affecting my hubby and me night sleep. It’s really mental torturing and affecting our health.
Not sure if you have come out with a solution on the mad neighbor issue you face. I was also still finding a way out.
Rachel: Our nightmare was over. We complaint to the house owner. Initially he refused to talk to her because she was a good payor. Later, when she got worse by throwing stuff into our house, we made police reports. That’s when the house owner finally agreed to ask them to move. They just told her that they needed the house for their son as he is getting married soon. I hope you can get yours resolved soon. Are they the same persons? :p
