Spams
I really hate spams, especially lately. I got an average 650 spam comments per day. When the volume was low, I could still go through and identify ‘human comments’ and de-spammed them.
But as the spam volume increases, I find it hard to screen through them. When I travel or over the weekend, cannot check daily, I can get 3-4k spams.
I have no choice but to delete them all without screening through. If you have left some comments here and don’t see it appearing, even after I posted something new (means that I am online), do let me know by email so I can check carefully.

Hi,
regarding your spam comments, I recommend you search for a wordpress plugin called Akismet. It automatically gets rid of spam, plus it learns, so you can check if it gets anything that isnt spam and it wont mark that particular commenter as spam again, also if spam does get through (although it’s never happened since I started using it), you can mark it as spam, and again, it’ll remember and mark it as spam the next time:)
Its a brilliant little gadget thingy for wordpress I really recommend it

I hate spams too. You are not alone in this dilemma. I have had some friendly comments (including one of yours earlier but I found it) being tagged as spam by WordPress spam buster.
Akismet doesn’t help?

Thanks for your suggestion on Akismet. Actually I have Akismet installed too. It is a great program, but my spam is just too much –> finding a friendly comments in a bunch of 25 pages of spams caught by Akismet is really a pain. It occassionally classifies some (like the one from Giddy Tiger) as spam. I believe there are others that I’ve missed to ‘save’… 
Adrian: Yes! I believe you know exactly my problem, from what you wrote! Akismet managed to stop them from appearing in comments, but finding the friendly ones what are wrongly classified as spam is a pain!
Giddy Tiger: Sorry there, I got your email. Your comments are always wrongly classified as spam by Akismet. Tell you what? This comemnt of yours were wrongly classified again. Seriously, had I not trying to search for Muhammed’s comment in the 25 pages of spams (which was parked for moderation and I accidentally clicked spam), I would have missed your comment too! Sigh!
