When I read about this blog conference, I got excited for a while. I have an upcoming trip to the USA, and I thought: wow, maybe I can join this bloggers gathering!
But… when I read more, I got disappointed. They are having it much later than my USA trip. It is scheduled on 1st and 2nd of June, in Orlando, Florida. They are holding it in Orlando simply because it is a world renowned entertainment capital and a fun place to be. Ya, who would like to hold such exciting event in Houston? (no offend ya)
The theme for the conference is You’re A Rock Star. The goal is to introduce bloggers ways of improving their blogs and how to make it more profitable. They will be having individual presentations from excellent bloggers, and group discussions too. It sounds really too fun to be missed.
If you have a blog that you are proud of, e.g. high traffic, high income, lots of comments/WOM, good contents, etc, why don’t you check it out at their site. They are looking for speakers of that nature.
BTW, the conference fee is cheap too. For a fee of USD199.95, you get to attend the 2-day workshop + conference sessions and meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks) – detail in their site. Hey, this is so much worth compared to paying USD200 to sleep on a makeshift bed in the living room!
