Velcro Baby Isabel
‘Velcro Baby’ was the term BabyCentre describes Isabel’s current stage.
She is so clingy to me. She can play happily and quietly with DH and others, then… when I appear, her eyes will be fixed on me. At the same time she’ll make some pittieous sounds.
When I don’t pick her up, she’ll whine. And when I go into another room/toilet, she’ll cry even more pittieously! She’ll cry and cry until I finally pick her up, then she’ll lean her head on my shoulder –> very ‘teh’/manja and touching.
Well, I believe any mothers would love their children to be attached to them. Well, I mean, attached to the mothers than to anyone. Right?
But because I am often away for business trips, my feeling is really mixed. I am very happy but also worried about her especially when I’m away (like now! I’m in Jakarta!). I wonder hoe she’s coping?
On the other hand, Ian is also getting more attached to me nowadays. He’ll ask for me in the morning, after waking up from afternoon naps, and at bedtime.
This morning I had to explain to him when I was in the MAS Golden Lounge’s toilet – other women gave me understanding looks!
I’m sure those mothers would understand, right?

yiiiii…..Isabel so teh….so cute!
paupau: yes, inded she is so so so cute…
