Going to School
I read shoppingmum that Justin wanted to go to play school. My friend SF also told me that his son requested to go to school.
Why Ian is the opposite?
I had a blissfull week this week, sending him to school. But as I was feeling lucky now, Ian is telling me again, since last night, that he doesn’t want to go to his school any more.
When I asked him about the swim, sand-play and water-play, he told me he still want to play those, but he doesn’t want to go to school. * roll-my-eyes *
I really got blown up by him lah!

Put the magic uniform on and he will be okay.
He’s not doing homework there right? Just playschool right? How about telling him that he’ll learn something new everyday, and when he performs at home, give him a sticker to stick on his sticker book, like a performance book. When he has 10 stickers or so, give a little present?
Personally, I don’t think we should give young kids too much choices.
At their age, they should just enjoy everything provided for them and believes that the parent’s choices are the best. If they start making choices pre-school, the parent will have not say once they are in their teens. Just my thoughts.
jason: ya, you are right, this morning he told me “mama, I want to go to school”. Really magical!
shoppingmum: no, I reject those types with homework, just playing only. Hey, good idea about the sticker book huh! I’ve a lot of car stickers and I just gave all to him and he stick everywhere. I should have use the stickers wiser like what you suggested. You are an angel!
Kevin: Thanks for dropping by and left a comment. Actually those activities are the ‘subjects’ in his playschool, not choices I gave him.
