Stuck in Workshop
I was stuck in a workshop held in Crowne Plaza Mutiara Hotel downtown, for a whole week last week.
The workshop was a renowned workshop in my organization, for its challenging syndicate group work. Have heard from people attended that they’ve not gotten any sleep, to complete the tasks.
True enough, on most nights we ended at 11pm. On Thursday night, we started the groupwork at 6pm after a whole day of download sessions. At 10pm, my group was stuck with our work, couldn’t proceed. At 4am, we were still working on our charts. At 4:30am, my team member SOS – wanted to sleep.
I slept for only 2 hours, from 5 to 7am. Continue again with our charts. Finally ready at 11:30am. Practised 1 hour, presented at 12:30pm.
Though tough, the hardwork was still worth, coz we won! We won the most difficult challenge, in the most reknowned workshop here! We feel so proud of ourselves. Have very strong sense of achievement. Self satisfaction. Hmm… Hmm… Hmm…
