2006 Photograph of the Year Contest
(Siumai and paupau, if you are reading this, maybe this will excite you… no?)
The PhotographyCorner.com 2006 Photograph of the Year Contest is now up and running, from 19 Dec 2006 till 12 Jan 2007. Entries must be submitted no later than midnight of 12 Jan 2007. The panel of judges is its own members. Only members with 5 posts or more are allowed to vote on the photos. Highest voted photo will win the contest.
Voting starts on 15 Jan 2007 (not sure when voting ends). Winner will be announced on 31 Jan 2007.
In terms of prizes, 1st place will bring back items worth an approx value of $3639.95. It includes a cash prize of $250, plus all sorts of photography gadgets and gift certificates.

I like this kind of contest because there will be lots of great photos that you can see, and of course learn from them!
DH just bought a Canon 400D few days ago. I’m sure he would be interested to participate, but won’t be on time for this round. Maybe next year? This is really an expensive hobby of him!
