Violence
I am a bit concerned on Ian’s behaviour lately. He is acting quite violent in school and towards Isabel. He doesn’t know that it hurts, I believe.
Yesterday the teacher complaint to my mom that Ian pinched and pushed a boy just because he was standing in front of him, taking the 1st place in queue.
Later at night, just before we left MIL’s house, he suddenly approached Isabel from behind, and grabbed her hair and pulled so hard that Isabel screamed in fear/tears and couldn’t settle for a while.
I grabbed a little of his hair and pulled gently, asked him whether it was painful or not. He said yes. And I asked him whether Isabel hurts or not and asked him to apologize to her. He does seem concerned on Isabel after I demo it on him and promised me that he won’t do that again.
I really hope that he did this because he doesn’t know it hurt. I hope he didn’t do this on purpose, to hurt others.
Don’t worry, it’s just a passing phase.
But sometimes i really wonder, why a kid would suddenly act violent, is it because the kid just try to have self-protected?
Ya lor, why har? Maybe exposure from TV too. I hate those programs…
hmm..did he pick it up from somewhere? Guess after a few times of lecture and demo he will realise and it will go off. No worries
