Scheduled Trips
Ok, good news, my Beijing trip is cancelled coz the training was brought forward to mid Aug, which I am still on my maternity leave and can’t make it.
Well, depends on how I look at it. It could be bad news, coz I lost the opportunity to attend one important training this year… really a mixed feeling. Whatever it is, I see this as God’s blessing. He knows that I won’t be able to stock up so much breastmilk for the two trips, and he knows what is the best for me.
Originally I had confidence that I might be able to stock up enough ebm, but after I received my travel itinerary, my confidence flated. The Chicago trip will take me 10 days from point to point! Mostly travel and transit.
So, this cancellation of the BJ trip is really a blessing from God. Whew! This Chicago trip better be a good and enjoyable one.

All things work for the good for those who love God..??
Your job is one of the jobs I envy, can travel to so many places!!!
Mama Bok: I actually believe in it. It worked like that in Ian’s case too! I went on 17 days trip, worrying of milk stock, and he turned out to drink less during the priod. Instead of insufficient stock, I had more than enough.
shoppingmum: I wanted this job when I was younger without kids. Now with kids, not so much ler… can be a pain.
Envy envy, all I ever go is within Bolehland
Hi,
I just learnt from my co travel policy update that we are not allowed to hand carry any fluid (including drinking water) on flights to and fr US. Just fyi, maybe u want to start planing abt your EBM during the trip
Shooi,
Thanks a lot for the info, and thanks for your concern. I read from the paper too, and am very worried now. If I have to check in all my milk, I’m sure they’ll gone bad by the time I reach home. But I’m going to try – maybe freeze them, so they have enough coolness to last the journey. And use them for the 1 day afte I reach home. At least 1 day’s supply is kept…
