Sleeping Beauty
When I was in F6, my nickname was Sleeping Beauty. Not that I was pretty, but the truth about me able to sleep in any condition gave me the nickname.
I used to sit in the first row in classroom - in school or tuition. And, when I was sleepy, I could just ‘fish’ even in front of the teachers. Not that I didn’t want to respect them, but I just couldn’t control myself. I tried pinching myself, biting, tickling, washing, etc. Everything failed.
There was one very terrible incident in tuition - I tried to push my eyelid opened with my two fingers (index and thumb). The result was, I had my eyes wide opened, but the eye ball rolled up there and I still FELL ASLEEP and even had a dream!!! The teacher just looked at me in horror, when I suddenly realized and awoke.
Now, I think the Sleeping Beauty nickname should be passed on to Isabel.
When we sunbath her in the morning, she sleeps through. And after we cool her (when she continues sleeping), we bath her. She can sleep through the whole bathing session! Eventhough I could sleep in ‘any’ condition, I don’t think I could do what Isabel did. Sallute to her.

I am a fussy sleeper, but fourtunately my girl is a good sleeper like her daddy.
I’m a light sleeper, I’ll wake up at the slightest sound, so I have panda eyes since young. Justin is just like me. Isabelle only sleeps like no tomorrow during the first month. Now, she’s every much awake like Justin. Hai ya…
She sleeps really wel wor, but sometimes when my babies sleep too long it kinda makes me worry too… so “fan chin” lah me LOL
Wuah…so lucky wan you. But what they said hor, if confinement month good baby, after confinement, become notty liao. Hahaha. So watch out.
And errm…you sure she is not jaundiced hor? ‘Cos sleep too much oso no good. Heh, ignore my mouth.
I oso want to be a baby so I can sleep while someone baths me. Muahaha. I oso can sleep in most situation too
lilian: Actually, what you said about jaundice is also what worries me. She IS definitely jaundice, though not serious. We have to sun bath her, and poor Isabel, I think she has got some sun burnt already. I am giving her a rest today. Have to monitor closely.
msau: nothing to envy, coz she sleeps like that during the DAY, and wakes up at least 3-4 times at night. I think she is still confused between day and night, though I make them very different.
egghead/ mamabok/ jeferene/ shoppingmum: hopefully she is also good baby after confinement is over.
sue: actually I also got worried when she sleeps too long - worry of breast engorgement lah, worry whether she is still okay or not lah, worry this and that.
