Temp Relief
My temp replacement at work has arrived yesterday. I am very busy since she arrived. Have to brief and train her, not only on projects, but also on the company and staff etc. Hey, not only Malaysia that I have to brief, since I cover the whole AP region, and being part of the global team, I have to brief her on almost all countries and the new organization structure!
Anyway, things are almost settled now. I’ve got my company’s GL for hospital, made some prepayments, notified all my internal ‘clients’ and suppliers… only a few more nitty gritty stuff to do, then I can go ‘sang-zai’ (give birth) already! Whew! This time seems more prepared than my 1st one.
The last time giving birth to Ian, my temp relief came in on Monday (3 weeks before my EDD), then on Tuesday morning I had show in the office, went to hospital, delivered on Wed. Less prepared, and ‘wasted’ 3 public holidays –> just before Ian’s EDD there were 3 days! :p
This time, even if I give birth next week, I’ll only miss 1 public holiday. Hahaha! So calculative! :p
Will be seeing my gynae this evening. See what he says about us… very, very, very anxious about this already.

I was calculating too.. with Ivan he came at the right time as July and August no holidays, and upon coming back after confinement I get to have Merdeka holiday too
With the 2nd one, no such luck, landed right in the middle of this year’s CNY… lost a whole week of holidays….
sue: wah! right in CNY?! Pitty you loh, lost so much of holidays… Been thinking that it is the worst scenario liao! :p
“Sang Zai” also calculative?? Haha….must learn from you and Sue. Next time must calculate right right at least after 2 months confinement still can enjoy public holiday!!
