2 years ago (part 3)
OK, this is the final part of my record. After that, I stopped writing on my event book, and few months later started my blog. Anyway, you can see that, I didn’t write frequently. Through out the whole pregnancy, I only had 2 records, and the 3rd one is actually post delivery…
27/4 (Thursday)
Baby was born 16 days earlier on 21/4. We named him Yee Hern. He was 3.01 kg, 49 cm long.
Everything happened so fast. On Monday 19/4, I went to check-up. Doc predicted my baby was going to be born late. Then the next day morning at 7:55 am, I was in the office’s toilet, found blood stain in my pant, then very panic, went to hospital at 2pm, and was sent home, with dilation 1cm only and mild contraction. In the evening, contraction interval was 30 min, then shorten to 15 min by 11 pm, and 5 min by 2am.
I was admitted at 3:30am (21/4). Dilation was already 4 cm, Within 1 or 2 hours, midwives announced that it opened to 9cm. But then it didn’t go further till afternoon. My urge to push was so much that I was in pain for more than I could bear.
Baby finally was born at 3:22pm, with forcep.
Through out the last few days so many things happened, I cried and cried a lot, adjusting to the confinement rules. I didn’t want to mention those again, but one thing that is really great was, DH’s support. He is so supportive and is so nice and patient, bearing all the burden all on his own without complaining. He loves us a lot, I can feel it. I feel so touched by his… everything. He is definitely the best husband and best father of all.
My baby is very cute. He has so much of hair though my mom is not satisfied with it. He has a pair of cute eyes, and he is so strong! He is defintely a good suckler, makes my breastfeeding so successful, though also very tired.

The bundle of joy is definitely so great to me and DH. The labour pain is worthy after seeing my little boy. Seeing him suckling my breast is so satisfying. I have the greatest family with me now, my dear little boy and my darling husband.
Thanks God, for giving me all these.
At that point of time, we haven’t named my son Ian yet. ![]()
