Birth Space
I have a friend, whom we lost contact for nearly 2 years or more. We tried to contact her with all means – email, sms, phone calls – all ended up with no respond. Finally, today she responded. Apparently, she is too busy with TWO CHILDREN!!!
Hey, when I was pregnant with Ian, she hasn’t got her #1. And she is not having twins. Which means, she has 2 children in a very short time!
According to her, #1 is 20 months old, #2 is 4.5 months old. Which means, when #2 was born, #1 was still 15.5 months. She must have conceived when #1 was only 6 months old!
I wonder if she is going to try for #3 or not, given both children are girls… Hmm… wonder, wonder, wonder (KPC Suzette…).
Another KPC question, what should be a healthy space between births? I thought we should wait 1 year after delivery before trying again? Hmm… KPC me.

wah! one more ah? wah lau! good luck!
You want No.3?
I think it’s depend on the parent whether they can cope, energy wise and financial wise. No way for me to have such close gab children, can’t imagine one is climbing here and there then the other one is crying for milk!
No lah! Not I want No. 3, I’m just pondering whether my friend wanted No. 3!!!!
:p sorry for the confusion to everyone!
Wow…!! your friend.. very the “can”..
I was very afraid.. to get pregnant AGAIN.. when chloe was younger.. so .. the best thing we did was .. abstinence.. that was how worried i was..
MamaBok: why are you so scared? Or maybe I should ask “What are ou scared of?”. Is it the pregnancy process, delivery, or taking care of young baby? To many parents with slightly grown up kids, it is the fear of going through the child care. what about you then?
I’m worried because i had the most difficult pregnancy. I was sick the whole 9 months.. and had to take special medication which was like $150.00 for 50 tablets.. and i had to take like 4 a day because if not i feel like throwing up all the time.
I had panic attacks.. all the way till i gave birth to chloe.
I couldn’t eat anything . .while i was pregnant. .coz’ i was sick all the time.
I have diabeties.
Medical care suxs here in yarmouth.. and ultra sound is only done in special cases. Now that suxs big time..!! and they won’t even tell me the gender of my baby.. because it’s their rule here.
I almost died when delivering Chloe. Yes.. i lost so much blood. .and my Hemoglobin was so low.. and they didn’t detect it during my whole pregnancy. I lost so much blood.. and i was slipping away during my C-section.
I was advised upon delivery .. by the doctor . that i shouldn’t try for another one.. if possible.
On top of it.. i really do not wanna risked my life.. because i do not want Papa BoK to be the only one raising Chloe. It wouldn’t be fair to Chloe and Papa BoK and the new baby.
And yes.. child care for a new baby is also quite worrisome for me.. because Chloe doesn’t sleep thru’ the nite still.. and only goes to bed after midnite.
I hope that answers your question.. hahahahahahah!!
MamaBok: wow, didn’t know all these stories about Cloe’s birth! Did you blog it? Unfortunately I don’t have your password, so I can only read those ‘daily updates’.
Your story sounds really scary. If it is for medical reasons, ya, you should stop at this stage ler… Luckily you still have one lovely daughter. You must always tell her this story, so she knows that her life is so precious!
BTW, I didn’t know medical care is so poor there, and I thought only China has that rule – not to tell the gender of baby!! Really an eye opener for me…
