A-TA-SI
Ian: Mama, mama, mama! See! Atasi! Atasi!
Suz: * Scratch head * What did you say?
Ian: Atasi, Atasi!
(Showed me a pack of chili sauce on his left hand, and a plastic spoon on his right, and pointed to me a plastic bag of KFC sauces on the floor)
Suz: Hahaha! OK, that is K-F-C. Say, K-F-C?
Ian: A-Ta-Si!
Suz: No, say “K”
Ian: K
Suz: say “F”
Ian: C!
Suz: No, say “F” first.
Ian: F!
Suz: Now say “C”
Ian: C!
Suz: OK, now say K-F-C!
Ian: A-TA-SI!
Suz: * silent *
(Repeated many times, still returned ‘A-Ta-Si’…)

Hehehe, Ian always have difficulties pronouncing some 3-syllabus terms (though not all). For example: Kak-lat-dai (armpit) becomes Kok-Kok-Kai, I-Love-You becomes ‘Ah-Fuh-Dih’, etc.
But for some of the things he can say it very well, e.g. I don’t want, San-Za-Pian (haw flakes), etc.
We’ll just have to continue guess his words. But frankly, I really enjoy the guessing game. :p

Sounds like yat dat si… one pile of shit… LOL.
Ian so smart..!! Chloe 2 yrs old.. cannot speak as good as your Ian..! so envy lah..!
Well in the early stages like my son, hard to control the tongue hence the pronounciation … but I enjoy every moment of it … cause it’s so cute …
my son already talk like crazy liao… he can say kentucky fried chicken liao… *kembang… but most of the time we are still guessing… LOL!
jason: you very wat-tat lah! :p
MamaBok: Einstein speaks at age of 4. Maybe your Chloe is like him?
P: ya loh, it is very cute right, and I really like the guessing game. :p
egghead: hahaha, self-praise. :p
But no wonder my mom keeps saying Ian is very slow ler…
