Ah Fuh Di
I took leave on last Monday and Wednesday. Tuesday was Deepavali holiday, Thursday and Friday were Raya holidays, so I had the whole week off.
DH was away on business trip whole of last week, so Ian spent the whole week with ME, most of the time. * grin *
At night, it was the closest time we spent together. At bed, Ian kept calling me “Mama, Mama, Mama, …” until he falls asleep.
When he calls me, I would respond, “Yes, Yes, Yes…” and occasionally said, “Ian, I love you…”
To my surprised, he learnt that and one night he responded, “AH FUH DI”.
After a while, then only I understand him: Ah Fuh Di = I Love You!
So after that, when I syiok, I would just ask him,
Suz: “Ian, call Mama”
Ian: “Mama”
Suz: “Say I love you”
Ian: “Ah Fuh Di”
Suz: “Say Mama I love you”
Ian: “Mama…”
Suz: “Say Mama I love you”
Ian: “Mama…”
Suz: “Okay lah, say I love you”
Ian: “Ah Fuh Di”

maybe we should put Ian and my son together and see how well they communicate in their strange language..
egghead: actually I think if you spend enough time with him, you can guess what your son say. Really, now I am the only one in the family trully understands what he says.
So cute.. and so heartwarming..!!
