Japanese Food Week
Last week can be considered a Japanese food week for me.
Well, as I had overseas visitors for a regional meeting here in KL, I took them out for dinner at Hideki, One Bangsar.
I have to admit that the quality of food is very good. I never liked tuna sashimi but it was so good that I took them without realizing much. Other food also tasted very good.
We ordered:
And… the above cost us RM433.55!! Well, what do you expect from One Bangsar area huh? :p
There was a little incidence during the mealtime…
One Singaporean colleague found the crabstick in her California roll still wrapped with plastic. She pulled it out, put on the plate and asked the waitress to take a look.
Guess what? The waitress said: “So – how – now?”
Wah! We really got blown to the ceiling! Finally we just asked her to exchange a new one.
Come to think about it, we should have said, “So how? We want you to EAT THIS!” Hahaha! LOL!
And why did I say last week was a Japanese food week? On Sunday, I had the takoyaki from Jaya Jusco all by myself. Then Wed went to Hideki for this company dinner. And… on Friday, we re-visited Hideki again for my intern’s farewell lunch!
Not that I like the place so much, but because everyone else has not been there and they have already decided the week before! Luckily they ordered completely different dishes, and all for share. I think my second time in Hideki is better. We ordered very nice dishes:
And the above ‘only’ cost us RM245 as compared to the first night!
On Saturday, DH wanted to eat at Sushi King, and I just couldn’t do it any more… so we ended up had Cheese Baked Seafood Rice. Yummy…

Enjoy-nya! Summore not all you pay… *jealous*
By the way, I aint Japanese food fan.
Hmm, very nice write-up, coz it makes me wanna go and try these places! Where is Hideki btw?
jason: if you don’t like jap food, you miss out a lot of fun!
But you are right, I only eat when I don’t have to pay. Kekeke!
totoro: Hideki is at the One Bangsar area. If you are familiar with Bangsar, it is near to the Bangsar Village, just opposite TMC supermarket. There is a row of bungalow-like restaurants, each ‘bungalow’ is a restaurant by itself. A lot of fine dining there. Got Italian, Frehcn, Vietnamese, Indon, etc. Famous ones are Italian and Jap. Must try, especially if not paid by myself. LOL!
My favourite..!! jap food..
But yes.. quite ex.
I guess Hideki must put a big “arigato guzaimaz to Suzette” at their door lah
BigBok: hehe, that’s why I only eat Jap food (other than the sushi king type) if it is paid by the company. kekeke!
egghead: Aiyoh, I think they said it to everyone, no special to me ler. should ask for some commission, isn’t it? :p
