Back To Normal
Ian is teething lately; the remaining teeth are popping out now.
He is also having some allergic rashes on his tummy and back.
He had some mild stomach upset.
He had fever last Thursday.
These could be the causes for his sleepless nights. And he was also difficult to nap, during the day.
He could be too tired, after not sleeping well, day and night, for the last 4 to 5 days.
He finally slept well last night. Only woke up twice, but easily fell asleep after taking a sip of water.
Whew! What a relief to us. Us = DH, Ian, and myself!

my son kept biting his finger now and we can feel from his gump that his other teeth (apart from the 4 he has now) is popping out liao…
so far he dun have those rashes yet… hopefully not lah
Suzette, we’re on the same boat. Justin’s a poor sleeper since newborn. Now also he’s waking up frequently and cries and cries and takes time to fall asleep again. I think he’s teething again. *Sigh* me tired too.
My boy is teething too, I think. He has 8 at the moment. He had a fever all night on Merdeka night and wanted to be carried all night the next night. He looked in great pain. Even when I was carrying him, he struggled and arched his back and cried and cried. Lucky for us he’s back to his usual cheerful self the next day but till now I haven’t seen any new tooth yet.
Yea, Su Anne had two big molars coming out at the same time and poor baby, lost her appetite, could not take the teats too much as it probably hurt her gums, had fever now and then, caught a flu from big sis, shit also thick black gooey stuff. Worse thing is that doc says her weight gain is abnormally slow, like 300g in 2 mths. What to do, cannot eat much.
egghead: I think Ian’s rashes is from contact allergy, not from teething. So, your son should be free from this.
shopping mum: Very tired isn’t it? Poor baby, but mommy also not patient ler… I feel sorry for Ian coz I… (ashamed of myself), slapped him (softly) when he kept on crying. I am very guilty now…
mumsgather: oohhh, it will take a while for the teeth to really pop out. never know teething is so painful one…
Mrs B: Sigh, how I wish I still have lots of BM to feed him. I think BFG is much better than the bottle/teats. Ian too suffered from that. He’d rather drink from cup than from bottle, but he is not expert yet, a lot of leakage.
kesian…..having to stay up at night and then go to work the next day. I salute you!
Good..! much needed rest.. you and DH need.. and also poor Ian..!
[...] In my previous post, I declared that everything was back to normal, but it was only for ONE night, probably due to the fact that Ian was too tired, and he took a break in the war. [...]
