Instant Noodle on the Plane

Published by suzette at 3:32 pm under All,Traveling

In my last Houston trip in Feb this year, by boss told me they also serve instant noodle on the plane. She intended to eat the instant noodle as her breakfast instead of getting the ones in the menu, while we were on our way home.

Half way through, I got so hungry and it was 4 hours before they would serve any breakfast. So, I requested a bowl of instant noodle.

Woo hoo! The noodle was so properly done, and they added quite a lot of ingredients. It was full with veggies, crabsticks, fish balls, etc. It was so delicious and smelled so good that it woke up some passengers, who also ordered the same later. And all these happened when my boss was still sleeping.

By the time she woke up for breakfast, the crew told her all instant noodles were gone, no more left for her! I dare not to tell her I started it, hehehe! :p

This trip, I also took the instant noodle, also around 4 hours before they served breakfast. However, this time it wasn’t as delicious as last time. It has less ingredient and no veggies. But overall still tasted good!

I don’t take instant noodles at home, ever since I returned from my secondment to Singapore in Y2K. When I was there, I lived a very simple (or stingy?) lifestyle. I almost ate instant noodles everyday, until I got so sick with it.

But when I was so hungry on the plane, in between hot instant noodles and cold cereal bar, which one would you choose if you were I? ;)

Wah, I did not know they serve that. Nice! Abuden, I guess it will be a long time before I get to fly far-far away again. So many pak-pak-lang, airtickets will cost a bomb.
