Cry, Push, Yell, Fight in Hair Cut
I saw msau cutting SQ’s hair so easily. She just placed SQ on a potty and then ta-da-da-da, SQ’s hair was trimmed already.
With my son, it is really difficult. Every hair cut session is like a battle. 3 persons are required, minimum.
One to hold him tight, one to cut, one to entertain and distract him.
The last session was done by just DH and me. We switched on the TV showing his favorite program, then placed him on his little chair. While he was happily watching, suddenly he felt us cutting his hair – waaaaaah, battle started again.
He cried lah, pushed us lah, screamed lah – I feel so heart pain seeing him cried like that. He wanted to hug me and wanted me to rescue him, but I have to turn him down… 
So, in the past we have to distract him with things that he has never played before, even small pieces of metal/plastic is fine! See how he used to be distracted, and his crying face when it was done.
Why cut so short? Hot ah? U use the trimmer with sound is it? Maybe he’s scared of the sound…But he’s more cute now…
Alamak, u cut him tilll botak ka!?!?!?!? no wonder he kept strugling la.

My baby girl also do not like hair cutting.. you should see her pitiful face.. hahahah!! so cute though.. hahah!!
Whoa! Luckily my two kiddoes sit still for haircut so I one person oso can kau tim.
how about you carry him and let another person cut his hair, my friend did that, from screaming till quiet let the daddy cut his hair after the mommy carry him.
Last time my son was baby, everytime cut hair cry no day no night but after 1 year old b4 go cut his hair we let him know then he guai guai sit there cut his hair till now 3 years old no problem on it
But my girls i just cut by my on, i just ask them sit on the tinny little chair then i cut it. So far so good, but i very char sui..not nice
Exactly the same botak style with my son…
My son needs to be fed by three different people while he had his hair cut by my wife’s aunty.
Anyway… botak is good for toddlers as they will not feel that hot under this long hot weather…
shoppingmum: Ya loh, Ian sweats a lot one. Everynight when I feed him lying down, after finished, my bed is wet like he pee like that. But anyway, these are old photos, taken in April. Now his hair still the same.
lockee: actually cut botak is easiest. This was done in April, much easier. Those we did 2 weeks ago, very difficult because we decided not to cut botak, so used scissor. That’s when he struggled a lot.
