It was DH’s friend’s daughter, Shannon’s baptize ceremony in KK. DH’s boss would be her godfather, and this is something new to us, so we thought of witnessing the ceremony, as well as a holiday for Ian too.

We checked in at the Pacific Wing of Sutera Harbour Resort. It was such a good weather on Saturday, but Ian was already sleepy, we spent the whole afternoon in the hotel room (such a waste!). At 1:30pm woke him up, went to the church for the baptize ceremony, which went on very fast, less than 30 min kao dim already.

At night, we went over to her house for a BBQ and steamboat party. Wow, Ian was able to mix well with those strangers. DH was at the back BBQing, I had dinner at the porch, Ian stayed at the living room with the other sisters, and he was completely ok – until he saw me again. He always whines when he sees me, and I know why – he is after his pacifier… :(

In that house, Ian saw and touched a cat for the first time, sat in a swing 1st time, saw BBQ 1st time… so many first time. It is really boring staying in our apartment where we don’t have a garden or porch… Even lizards, you can’t find at my house. So Ian also saw lizard for the first time. So many new things to him! I hope we don’t overload him with too many new stuff. :D

Hehe. Really kah? I thought he would get confused. When I opened the fridge one day, he so excitedly said “ball, ball, ball”. Then I realised he thought all round things (actually EGGS), as ball! :p

[...] Last Sunday, after Ian’s afternoon nap, at around 5:30pm we went to Shanon’s birthday party. It was an outdoor party, which we could do barbecue and stuff. We only stayed for a while as we need to rush for another round of dinner – my father’s birthday dinner. [...]
