Ian and Shxxx
Ian is slowly picking up new words everyday. He is particularly good at any words that starts with ‘sh‘. One day, I showed him Shell oil company’s logo, and told him that is ‘Shell’. Immediately he responded by saying ‘Shell’ - very accurately.
He can’t pronounce ‘mummy’, ‘daddy’, ‘poh poh’, ‘nen nen’ etc well, but ‘Shell’ is definitely very accurately pronouned. Now, whenever he sees Shell’s logo on paper or sees the fuel stations, he would shout out happily ‘Shell’! Very cute. DH says we should let the company knows about it. Hehehe!
And one day, when DH was alone with Ian, DH accidentally dropped something and said ‘Oh, Shit!’… immediately Ian picked that up ‘oh shit’, ‘oh shit’, ‘oh shit’… And he thought it was funny, everytime when he finished saying it he laughed out loudly and clapped his hands waiting for applause! :p
Now, he follows what we said - anything that starts with ’sh’ or close to that…
‘Aiseh!’, ‘Aiseh!’
‘See…’
‘Star!’ (follow by his hands gesture - for twinkle effect, very cute)

1+2mom: hehe, now we are very careful about what we said… but last night DH forgot and said that ‘oh, shit’ again when he saw Raikkonen crashed in F1. :p
simon: ‘petronas’ = 3 syllabus, ’shell’ = 1 syllabus, maybe petronas should consider rebranding it? Kekekeke! Actually har, even my mother and MIL can’t pronounce ‘petronas’ - MIL even pronounced it like ‘mcdonald’s. Hahahaha!
Oii? annabelle also picked up the “oh, shit!” from her daddy wor, she have stop saying it for quite sometime, but recently hear my SIL said, she on again *sigh*.
time to pick up the word, so becareful what you all say lor, they can really pick up VERY FAST.
twinsmom: ya, we have to be careful. But… on another notes, when babies say these ‘oh, shit’, they look so cute lah! :p
